Author Guidelines

General requirements

  • Original, unpublished work not simultaneously submitted elsewhere.
  • Editable DOCX file with author information removed from the review version.
  • Clear title, preferably under 20 words and without unnecessary acronyms.
  • Structured abstract of 150-250 words and five to eight keywords.
  • Title, abstract, and keywords in Spanish and English.
  • References and citations in APA 7th edition, including a DOI or persistent URL when available.
  • Tables and figures numbered, cited in text, and supplied with title, source, and adequate quality.

Structure

Research articles should include an introduction, relevant background, methods, results, discussion, conclusions, and references. Systematic reviews must describe the protocol, sources, search strategy, selection criteria, and synthesis. Other article types should follow a structure consistent with their methodology.

Metadata and authorship

For every author, OJS must record the full name, email, official institutional affiliation, country, ORCID, and contribution. Authorship order and composition may not be changed after acceptance without justification and documented consent from all involved.

Declarations

The manuscript must disclose funding, conflicts of interest, author contributions, data availability, ethics approval, informed consent, and substantive use of artificial intelligence when applicable.

Anonymization

The review version must omit names, affiliations, identifiable acknowledgements, and file properties revealing authorship. References to the authors' own works must be phrased without compromising anonymity.
