Aims and Scope
REDSA publishes scientific works that contribute to understanding and addressing contemporary problems in Ecuador, Latin America, and comparable contexts. The journal encourages multidisciplinary perspectives, rigorous methodological approaches, and results with academic, social, or territorial relevance.
Subject areas
- Social development and public policy: territorial and community development, citizen participation, inclusion, equity, social innovation, social economy, rights, and governance.
- Environmental sustainability: natural resource management, climate change, biodiversity, circular economy, environmental education, resilience, and conservation.
- Educational sciences: teacher education, inclusion, assessment, pedagogical innovation, active methodologies, technology, and educational management.
- Public health and well-being: epidemiology, community health, prevention, health promotion, healthcare management, occupational health, and mental health.
- Multidisciplinary studies: works integrating knowledge or methods from two or more areas within the journal's scope.
Accepted contributions
The journal considers original research articles, systematic reviews, literature or documentary reviews, case studies, and academic essays. Out-of-scope manuscripts, exclusively promotional texts, works without methodological support, and documents already published or simultaneously submitted elsewhere are not accepted.
