Digital Preservation
Digital Preservation
REDSA recognizes preservation as an essential responsibility of digital scholarly publishing. The journal retains its issues, articles, galleys, and metadata in OJS and maintains backup procedures to reduce the risk of loss or alteration.
Continuity measures
- Retention of the database and editorial files.
- Regular backups managed by the technical administrator.
- Use of DOIs and persistent metadata to support content identification.
- Maintenance of widely used distribution formats, including PDF and HTML.
- Records of corrections, updates, and retractions.
REDSA is implementing participation in a digital preservation network compatible with OJS. Activation and deposit status will be publicly reported once verified.
